I've been looking at images of celebs and models
who've made the chop
and gone to a pixie cut,
a short crop or a shag for spring.
Kristin Chenoweth super sexy pixie cut |
(and then looking at more images
of those that did it a while back too)
Pamela Anderson looking stunning in her pixie cut |
On some it looks fresh, vital and totally modern.
Charlize Theron Pixie cut |
Halle Berry pixie cut |
Jennifer Lawrence pixie cut |
On others it highlights crows feet, lengthens the face,
and doesn't necessarily look that flattering.
most of the time Anne Hathaway's pixie cut looks gorgeous, but sometimes it emphasizes creasing around her eyes and bags under her eyes |
Before you make the cut, pull all your hair back
and study your face and neck.
Look at your face shape,
which features are currently being softened
by your current hair style,
and which features will become overly pronounced
with a short short cut.
A short cut can make a long face look very long.
Isabel Lucas pixie cut |
Sometimes just making the cut choppy,
side sweeping the bangs, going for a short bob,
or keeping a little more length and volume around the face
can soften up your features enough to make it
look both modern and pretty.
Audrey Tatou's curly pixie cut is perfection |
Emma Watson gorgeous in a shag cut |
I loved Michelle Williams' pixie cut,
but as it has been growing out it keeps getting prettier,
and her new bob looks fresh and interesting too,
with a soft and feminine feel to it.
Vanessa Hudgens' choppy shag is versatile and modern,
giving her styling option as well as a fresh, vibrant look.
